Two Out of Two for Eli Iserbyt

Eli Iserbyt enjoyed a perfect weekend on the cyclocross circuit. On Saturday, he claimed victory in the Urban Cross in Kortrijk, his home region. A day later, he won the first round of the UCI Cyclocross World Cup by the Scheldt in Antwerp. Unsurprisingly, the Belgian champion now also leads the World Cup standings. As an added bonus, his teammate Michael Vanthourenhout joined him on the podium twice.

World Champion Lindsay De Vylder Thrills the Crowd at Ghent’s Kuipke

Last week, the legendary Kuipke in Ghent hosted the Lotto Zesdaagse Vlaanderen-Gent. Omnium World Champion Lindsay De Vylder dazzled on his special Ridley rainbow bike, delighting the crowd time and again. After a nail-biting Madison race, he and his partner Robbe Ghys narrowly missed claiming victory. Nonetheless, it was six days of spectacular promotion for the sport!

Rik Verbrugghe Appointed as New General Manager of Ridley Racing Team

Ridley Racing Team has appointed Rik Verbrugghe as its General Manager. In this role, Verbrugghe will take on the team’s overall leadership, a position that had been temporarily filled by our CEO, Jochim Aerts. With his extensive experience as a cyclist, sports director, commentator, national cycling coach, and sporting manager, Verbrugghe is the ideal candidate for this position.

Pauwels Sauzen–Bingoal Continues as Pauwels Sauzen–Cibel Clementines

For many years, the riders of Pauwels Sauzen-Bingoal have been racing on our bikes. This collaboration has already produced spectacular moments, including Belgian champion Eli Iserbyt and former European champion Michael Vanthourenhout. As of January 1, the team will continue as Pauwels Sauzen–Cibel Clementines, with Ridley remaining as the team’s bike partner.

Silver for Felipe Orts at the European Cyclocross Championships, five medals in total

Felipe Orts won silver last Sunday at the European Cyclocross Championships on home soil. In Pontevedra, he had to concede defeat to Thibau Nys in the final lap after an intense duel. Afterwards, he dedicated his medal to the victims of the flooding on Spain's eastern coast. Alongside Felipe (who claimed two medals), Eli Iserbyt, Leonie Bentveld, and Francesca Baroni also secured podium finishes in Spain.

Jelle Geens wins prestigious T100 triathlon in Las Vegas

What Happens in Vegas... Last weekend, our ambassador Jelle Geens made his T100 debut there. He did so in formidable fashion, as he crossed the finish line solo after just over 3 hours and 19 minutes. Jelle used the Dean Fast during the bike test and beat his compatriot Marten Van Riel.

Silver for Toby Perry at the European Gravel Championship!

Toby Perry of the Classified-Ridley Team secured the silver medal last Sunday at the European Gravel Championship in Veneto. Just two weeks after the official launch of the ASTR RS, the bike has already achieved success on the highest stage. The British rider managed his race brilliantly and dropped the other chasers in the final. For the team, this medal is the cherry on top after a year of hard work.
