Jelle Geens wins prestigious T100 triathlon in Las Vegas
The T100 is a new triathlon distance over 100 kilometres. It starts with a 2-kilometre swim trial in open water, followed by 80 kilometres of cycling. The triathlon ends with an 18-kilometre run test. Jelle received a wildcard for this prestigious race, making his debut at this distance. That his condition is optimal, he recently proved with a bronze medal at the European Championship 70.3 Ironman in Tallin.
Great day
After 3 hours 19 minutes and 34 seconds, Geens crossed the finish line first, more than half a minute ahead of his closest rival. ‘I felt really good all day long,’ he laughed afterwards. ‘It's nice to finally be on the podium with Marten and with German Justus Nieschlag there was another old acquaintance on the podium. In 2011 we were already on the scaffold together at the European Championships in the juniors. I thank everyone for the great experience and look forward to completing more T100 races.’
Dean Fast
No room for compromise! The Dean Fast is the fastest bike in our entire range. This time trial bike is a no-compromise model, developed in the Bike Valley wind tunnel, adjacent to our factory. The Dean Fast pushes the limits of UCI regulations and features an F-Surface Plus on the frame, allowing you to slice through the wind. A removable front derailleur hanger means that riders who choose a 1x setup get the most streamlined look possible when using the custom cover that replaces the hanger.
