Lotto-Dstny X Ridley
For an impressive 12 consecutive seasons, Lotto Dstny and Ridley formed a golden combination, and from 2005 to 2008, Ridley supplied the bicycles to the Belgian team. With Robbie McEwen, we shone in green under the Eiffel Tower, while André Greipel, with a gorilla on his bikes (due to his nickname), became the strongest sprinter in the world, and Thomas De Gendt stormed the mythical Mont Ventoux.
Throughout the years, we collaborated with the team on the development of the best possible bike. Cadel Evans rode a Ridley Helium in the yellow jersey, while Greipel used the Ridley Noah. In 2023, Alec Segaert introduced the Dean Fast at the World Time Trial Championship, where he secured the silver medal. Also, our newest bike, the Falcn RS, found its way into the professional peloton in a glorious manner, thanks to Arnaud De Lie.
Innovation has always been at the forefront of our collaboration over the years. Ridley's R&D department remained in constant contact with the professional riders to continuously improve the bikes. The Bike Valley wind tunnel played a crucial role, where many professional teams come to test aerodynamics. A highlight in this regard was achieved with Victor Campenaerts setting a new world hour record on a special Dean Fast, making cycling history.
