Do I have a warranty on a used bicycle?

Bicycles purchased on the second-hand market do not automatically retain their commercial warranty. The BCF lifetime warranty applies only if the Product was originally purchased new from an authorised dealer, registered within 30 days, and the warranty has not exceeded its transfer limit.

Under the new policy, the warranty may be transferred once, specifically from the first owner to a second owner, provided all conditions regarding registration, proof of purchase and maintenance history are met. After transfer to a third or subsequent owner, the warranty automatically expires.

Second-hand bicycles sold directly by BCF (e.g. Outlet, former team bikes, etc.) have specific warranty terms that fall outside the lifetime warranty framework.
