About Noah 3.0

The Noah features the same geometry and the same characteristics as the Noah Fast. This pure aero bike also builds on the success of its predecessors, on which icons like Robbie McEwen, André Greipel, and Caleb Ewan won Tour stages. One difference is the carbon lay-up, as well as the cockpit integration. The rider can equip the Noah with a classic handlebar/stem combination or the Cirrus Pro Integrated cockpit. In addition to electronic shifting, mechanical shifting is also still possible on this bike.

Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH)

The universal derailleur hanger (UDH) is the new standard in the cycling world. Not only is this derailleur hanger compatible with all modern shifting groups, it also protects against derailleur breakage and chain drops. In mountain biking, UDH has long been very common, and Ridley is bringing the technology to other segments as well.

Pushing the limits of UCI regulations

The new Noah Fast has been fully developed based on the latest UCI regulations regarding tube shapes and profiles. The main difference is the use of the 8:1 rule, which allows tubes to be eight times longer than their width, whereas previously it was 3:1. The result is long, narrow profiles in the fork and seat stays.

Progressive racing geometry

A steeper seat angle aligns with the changing preference of riders towards a position with an open hip angle for a better power transfer.

A lowered bottom bracket compensates for the wider tires used in modern cycling.

Finally, the lower head tube with integrated cockpit allows the rider to have a more aggressive aero position, resulting in a reduced frontal area.

Ridley Essential Carbon

The Noah brings all the best features of the Noah Fast to a more accessible price point. The carbon lay-up has been slightly adjusted, but the winning geometry remains intact. Our carbon is manufactured by the world market leader: Toray. The Japanese manufacturer is a pioneer in every aspect of carbon development and a supplier to absolute world-class brands in various industries. For the Essential Series, we use two types of carbon: 24T and 30T. The higher the tonnage, the higher the tensile strength and the fewer layers are needed to achieve the desired stiffness. That’s why a bike from the Essential Series is slightly heavier than its sibling from the Elite Series.

Removable front derailleur clamp

Our innovative removable front derailleur clamp ensures a sleek, streamlined appearance when using a 1x setup. In collaboration with Wolf Tooth, we’ve developed a custom chainguide and chain catcher perfectly tailored to fit our frames. To maintain a clean and polished look, we’ve also designed a specialized cover to seamlessly replace the clamp when it’s not in use.

Help & support

How can we help?

Can I use a traditionnal stem-handlebar combination?

Yes, you can use both an integrated Forza Cirrus Pro cockpit on the bike or a traditionnal stem-handlebar combination using a transition spacer (SPAAER4ZA012) to round spacers or a Deda Superbox

What TA is used on the bike?

The frame needs a 12mm TA with a thread of 1mm (Ridley article code QRET124ZA046)

What hanger is used on the bike?

The uses the SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). This means you will find easily a replacement hanger wherever you are as it is a standardised hanger (Ridley article code HANUDHSRA001)

What BB standard is used?

We use a BB86 press-fit bottom bracket standard on the Fenix SLiC, Fenix Disc, Kanzo Adventure, Kanzo Fast, Grifn, Falcn RS, Falcn, Noah Fast and Noah

Can I use a mecanical groupset?

Yes, the frame is compatible with both mecanical and electronic groupsets.

What is the tire clearance?

The tire cleance of the Noah is 34mm, actual width. This means the actual width of the tire on the rim. This can be different from the size mentionned on the tire.

Which seatpostclamp is used

The integrated seatpost clamp (Ridley article code SPCAER4ZA007) is designed for the aero seatpost of the Noah Fast and Noah.

What are the different cockpit options?

We have developped a specific aero integrated cockpit for the Noah Fast. The cockpit has different stem lengths and a width at the shifters of 360mm center-center and 400mm center-center in the drops for an optimised aero position. To find your perfect position we introduce also 3 different stem stack options (55, 75 and 100mm). This allows you to ride with less or without stemspacers and find your perfect position on the bike.

What frame size do i need?

The Noah Fast / Noah uses a progressive performance geometry. This means we use a steeper seat tube angle to have a more central position on the bike. To find your frame size, you should compare the actual toptube length of your current bike and compare it with the Noah (Fast) instead of using the "reach" number in the geometry chart. For a detailed bike fit, we advice to contact your local dealer.

What is the maximum torque for the seatpost clamp?

The maximum torque to fix the seatpost clamp is 10Nm, like mentionned on the clamp

Which headset type is used?

The frame uses a 1 1/8" upper bearing (IS42/28.6 45°/45°) and 1 1/2" lower bearing (IS52/40 45°/45°)
